Premature Ejaculation and Erectile Dysfunction Remedies: Moschus

An erectile dysfunction may be a temporary problem due to a disease or stress. The problem can be remediated with medication treatment or stress management. However, there are also a number of alternative medicine solutions to this problem. Moschus is also known as musk and is a substance that can be obtained from a musk deer. The substance can be used in homeopathy to cure impotence in men.

Moschus

Moschus or musk is a substance that can be extracted from the gland of a musk deer (Moschus Moschiferus in Latin).

Musk is commonly used as a fixative for fragrances. The substance is very expensive, as it is very difficult to obtain, as the deer has to be killed in order to obtain the glands that secret the musk. The musk gland, also known as the musk pod is extracted and dried. The musk pod will then be turned into powder and used in solutions, tinctures and dilutions. When used in perfumes and fragrances, the longer the solution is kept, the better the smell of the perfume.

However, the substance can be obtained synthetically also. Some plants have been found to emit similar odors to the deer musk.

Moschus can be used in traditional Chinese medicine, but has been adopted by homeopaths also.

Moschus and Male Fertility

Moschus can be used in dilutions to cure impotence in men. The dilution can stimulate libido and reduce premature ejaculation that is due to anxiety or stress.

Homeopaths recommend musk dilutions for patients with premature ejaculation or patients that have involuntary ejaculation problems.

The dilutions are used 2 times per day and the patient will have to check back with the homeopath on a regular basis, so that the homeopath can adjust the concentration of the dilution. The dilution may also contain other compounds that can improve male fertility or ingredients that may help with other medical problems the patient may be experiencing. Many patients that suffer from premature ejaculation or erectile dysfunction may be affected by a physical or psychological problem, which causes impotence.

Typically, the moschus used in homeopathy will be obtained synthetically, as the costs of deer musk would be very high for a patient following a homeopathic cure. A homeopathic cure typically spreads over several months and the patient can see signs of improvement only after 2 to 3 months of treatment.

Not all patients may respond well to the treatment with moschus, so the homeopath should be able to determine if a different course of treatment is needed.

Some patients may also experience adverse reactions to the moschus dilution manifested through nausea and vomiting, diarrhea or gastric ulcers.

Other Substances Used with Moschus

Moschus may often be mixed with other solutions that can work to cure male impotence. Homeopaths often mix musk with:

  • Nux vomica
  • Piricum Acidum
  • Sulphur
  • Graphites
  • Bufo rana
  • Phosphoric acid.

A specialist should be consulted prior to getting any type of homeopathic treatment.
