Surrogacy & Reproductive Law

Attorney Charlotte H. The Gestational Surrogacy process involves a surrogate mother carrying an embryo created by the union of the egg and sperm of the Intended parents or egg/sperm donors. In Traditional Surrogacy, artificial insemination of the surrogate’s egg is used to create a pregnancy. This is often referred to as "Preplanned Adoption" in some states, such as Florida.

Embryo Adoption

In an Embryo adoption, a couple that has completed their family through in vitro fertilization donates their remaining embryos to another family.
