Fertility Treatment Center is the only full service fertility clinic in Arizona, integrating the entire spectrum of fertility evaluation and treatment, advanced In Vitro Fertilization technology, on-site lab and Surgicenter, and cutting edge fertility research. FTC's clinical and laboratory specialists have the training, expertise and extensive experience in all areas of reproductive medicine, including IVF (In Vitro Fertilization), ICSI (IntraCytoplasmic Sperm Injection), assisted hatching, embryo and sperm cryopreservation, and preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD). Board certified physicians are specialty trained to diagnose and treat fertility disorders.

Dr. Craig has been a regular selection as a "Top Doc" in Phoenix Magazine.

Infertility specialist Dr. Craig is board certified in Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility and Ob/Gyn by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He received his medical degree and completed his residency training at Washington University Medical Center in St. Louis, and completed his fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the prestigious Michael Reese Hospital and the University of Chicago.

Dr. Craig has been practicing in the Phoenix, Arizona area since 1988, and founded the Fertility Treatment Center in 1990. He is a leader in advancing the field, having developed and introduced innovative techniques resulting in improved pregnancy success rates. Dr. Craig has contributed numerous journal articles on infertility & reproductive medicine, has been a featured guest on television and radio programs, and has several patented inventions.

IVF & Andrology Laboratory Director

Dr. Tao is Board Certified by the American Board of Bioanalysis as a High Complexity Clinical Laboratory Director. He holds a Master's Degree in Embryology and received his Ph.D. in Anatomy & Endocrinology from Indiana University. Dr. Tao completed his fellowship at the Reproductive Biology Laboratory at Methodist Hospital in Indiana and was an Assistant Instructor in the Medical Sciences Program at the University's School of Medicine.

Since joining FTC in the spring of 1999, Dr. Tao has brought tremendous leadership and innovation to our laboratory fertility programs. He introduced the concept of extended embryo culture and has also designed and patented a new embryo transfer catheter system, both of which have resulted in higher pregnancy rates.

Dr. Tao and his team of embryologists have guided FTC to achieving perfect scores in the Reproductive Laboratory Accreditation Program of the College of American Pathologists (CAP), the most respected laboratory accreditation program in the world. This is truly a distinction in our field and represents our level of commitment to service excellence.
"Our unique freezing strategy has contributed to FTC's very successful frozen embryo transfer (FET-IVF) program providing patients with a significant cost-saving option when compared to the high cost of repeated fresh IVF cycles."
