Integrative Healing Arts
Over the past 9 years, I’ve helped hundreds of women in New York City achieve their dream of finally conceiving a child.
My patients are independent women who live and work in the Big Apple. They’re used to reaching out and grabbing what they want in life! But when they come to me for fertility support, the questions are almost universal, and so is a realization… “I didn’t think it would be this hard!”
If you’re struggling with infertility, or are just plain fed up with the pregnancy waiting game, there is help. Acupuncture has helped countless women who struggled with infertility to conceive and give birth to happy, healthy children. Some were told by traditional Western medicine that there was no hope.

Acupuncture has been clinically shown to…
- Improve blood flow to the uterus, which helps the lining grow strong and healthy enough to support an embryo
- Reduce and prevent cramping, a common occurrence after an IVF transfer. Cramping is very disruptive to conception, as it can prevent the embryo from implanting in the uterine wall.
- Stimulate egg production, for women who can’t, or don’t want to, use fertility medication to help them get pregnant
- Regulate and stabilize hormone levels
- Reduce the chance of miscarriage
- Reduces stress and promotes deep relaxation, which are absolutely critical if you’re trying to get pregnant, especially if you’re undergoing any kind of traditional fertility treatment such as IVF
One recent study showed that women who received acupuncture treatments before their IVF transfer were 65% more likely to have a successful transfer, compared to those who had a placebo treatment or no treatment. Another found that acupuncture increases the chances of conception with IVF from 27% to 47%. Yet more studies show that acupuncture can help with a host of medical conditions, from sluggish sperm in men to cysts and lack of ovulation in women.
