Physicians' Background
Glen E. Hofmann, MD, PhD – Medical Director – is Board Certified in Reproductive Endocrinology, the study of infertility, and Obstetrics and Gynecology.He is the Medical Director of the Bethesda Center for Reproductive Health and Fertility for the past 15 years and if Director of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility for the Bethesda and Good Samaritan Hospitals. He was trained and worked at 2 of the leading institutes in the world for Assisted Reproductive technologies. At Mount SinaiMedicalCenter in New York, he practiced for more than 3 years, contributing to its reputation as one of the most successful ovum donation programs in the United States. He did his subspecialty training at the Jones Institute for Reproductive Medicine in Norfork, VA where the first IVF baby in the United States was conceived.
Dr. Hofmann completed his internship and residency at the University of Cincinnati, holds a doctorate in biochemistry and was named “Top Doc” by Cincinnati Magazine 2 years in a row.
Dr. Mazen Abdallah completed his Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Wayne State University School of Medicine, Detroit Medical Center, Detroit Michigan. He has received the Outstanding Junior Faculty Award – Department of Ob/Gyn 2008 and Excellence in Academic Achievement 2007. Dr. Abdallah has numberous publications and abstracts. Dr. Abdallah is accepting new patients.
