Are you wondering if you are pregnant? If so, then pay close attention to your body, it will tell you for sure. The moment that you conceive the hormones in your body begin to change. But just be aware that some symptoms of pregnancy also occur just before your period like sore breasts and bloating.
Symptoms • A missed period - if you've missed your period that could be a sign.
• Sore breasts - this is a common complaint that starts in early pregnancy. Your breast tissue can be extremely sensitive due to the increase of hormones that are now saturating your body.
• Cramps and spotting - when the egg attaches itself to the uterine wall you may feel cramping similar to that of cramping that accompanies your period. Your uterus is stretching and it hurts. Spotting can also occur when the egg attaches itself.
• Fatigue - can't get enough sleep? Do you seem to be exhausted all the time? If all you think about is sleeping, it could be a sign of your body adjusting to the being pregnant and all of those hormonal changes.
• Nausea or vomiting - you may start feeling a little queasy at times, but the complete effect of morning sickness won't strike for about month. And you should know that it doesn't just happen in the morning, you can be sick 24/7.
• Bloating - your digestive track slows down due to the increase of progesterone which in turn will make your stomach feel bloated. This will make your clothes feel tighter even before you start gaining weight.
• Frequent urination - does it feel like you live in the bathroom? The amount of blood and other fluids in your body increases, which causes your kidneys to flush the excess which ends up in your bladder.
• Food cravings - that chocolate and fish that you wanted for dinner is your bodies cry for extra carbs which will help to keep your energy levels up.
• Headaches - during the first few weeks of pregnancy the increased blood volume may bring on a few tension headaches.
• Mood swings - hormones and fatigue are both contributing factors to the ups and downs that you will encounter. Not so mention running to the bathroom ever few minutes, not being able to fit into your clothes because you are bloated, that's enough to make anyone bounce all over the charts with their emotions.
