Pregnancy symptoms can vary for each woman as well as at each stage of pregnancy and even between different pregnancies. Just as each woman is different, so is each pregnancy. And, as your pregnancy symptoms change, you might need to make changes to your everyday routine.
Pregnancy symptoms can begin once implantation of the egg occurs, which is right around the time of a missed period. First signs of pregnancy can also begin one to two weeks later.
Some common first signs of pregnancy may include:• A missed period
• Nausea and vomiting
• Frequency of urination
• Tender, swollen breasts,
• Tiredness
• Spotting or light bleeding
• Increased sensitivity to odors
Unfortunately, these early signs of pregnancy can be similar to the symptoms that you experience right before your period. But if you do experience any of these early signs of pregnancy and you have missed your period, you should take a home pregnancy test to see if you are pregnant.
During the first three months of pregnancy, or the first trimester, your body will go under a multitude of changes. Here are a few pregnancy symptoms that you may experience:
• Nausea
• Fatigue
• Backaches
• Mood swings
• Stress
• Frequent urination
• Constipation
• Dizziness
• Varicose veins
• Hemorrhoids
• Leg cramps
• Nosebleeds
• Bleeding gums
Just remember that these pregnancy symptoms are normal as your body changes. Most of these pregnancy symptoms during the first three months will go away as your pregnancy progresses.
