Pregnant Anime

Most women can become pregnant, even a Japanese animated character can become pregnant, anime is a cartoon character who is targeted for adults, who goes through everything that an adult would go through which includes pregnancy. An anime would use the rhythm method for birth control.

Rhythm Method

One of the first fertility methods to be practiced was the rhythm method and it's the oldest form of natural birth control. However, the down side is that it isn't very successful at preventing a pregnancy.

The rhythm method consists of three concepts:

• A woman ovulates 14 days before her menstruation cycle

• Sperm survive in a woman for 3 days

• An egg can only be fertilized within 24 hours of being released from the ovaries

So what you would need to do is count back 14 days from the first day of your period, this would be the day that ovulate, and will ovulate the following month. So not to get pregnant you would need to not have sex or use another form of birth control during this time. The rhythm method may work for an anime, but for you and I there are some problems with the theory.

Problems

• No woman ovulates on the exact same day every month - the patterns may be similar, but a woman's menstrual cycle can vary from month to month.

• Sperm are capable of living up to a week or 7 days inside a woman. If you are going to use the rhythm method, you should probably avoid sex for at least a week before ovulation occurs.

• There is no protection against STD's and if you're not an animated character, you definitely want protection.

Effectiveness

Statistics show that the failure rate for this form of birth control is 15 to 20%. It absolutely should not be considered if you have irregular cycles or your cycles are not exactly the same number of days every month.
