No correlation
Unfortunately many embryos graded as great quality once biopsies show abnormalities. In general the better the embryo quality, the lower the chance of abnormality. As stated previously we find the correlation to be poor.

Embryo grading and PGD are 2 different ways of evaluating embryos. Embryo grading is based on how the embryo looks and how it grows in the laboratory. PGD looks at the genetic material in the embryo. A low grade embryo can have normal genetics and a high grade embryo can have abnormal genetics.
