Is it possible to improve the quality of the eggs?

During my first IVF they told me the quality of my eggs is poor. They suggested ICSI and egg donation (but that is for me, out of the question). Is it possible to improve the quality of the eggs? And how? Pleas let me know. I am desperate

Egg quality is determined by your age and your FSH level. Unfortunately we do not have good methods of improving egg quality. There is a small amount of data on using a medicine called DHEA. In some patients who respond poorly to medicine it has helped improve chances for pregnancy. In most cases, however, the best treatment is using donor eggs.
