Is natural sex selection possible?

I am planning for a baby, but would like to know if there is a natural process for gender selection. If so, how does it work?

There are methods suggestive in the literature (e.g. dietary changes as well as sperm separation methods; the former has never been proven to work and the latter may work but not as effectively as espoused.) The only virtually 100% method is using IVF and Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis.
