My sperm count is very low, is intracytoplasmic sperm injection the best treatment?

I have been married to my wife for 7 years, and during that time she has never become pregnant. It was discovered that my sperm count is very low. Is intracytoplasmic sperm injection the best and most effective treatment? If not, is there another treatment you can suggest? I'd prefer to use my sperm to impregnate my wife, but am open to using donated sperm too.
