He needs to seek the advice of a urologist, preferably one who has expertise in male fertility. A good way to find one is on the recommendation of your fertility specialist. It is highly likely you will need IVF, so look for a good center. The possible male diagnosis and outcome depend on whether this is a blockage or a problem with sperm production.
