Can I get pregnant after a laparoscopic sterilization?

When I was 17, I had to have the laparoscopic sterilization after having two kids. I am now 26 and married. Is there a chance I can get pregnant again without any reversal? I heard I could because I was so young when they did the laparoscopic sterilization.

If you had a laparoscopic sterilization, your chances of a spontaneous pregnancy are very low (<1%). However, you can still get pregnant with IVF or by having a tubal reversal.

More than likely. If the sterilization worked, you would not be able to get pregnant naturally. You could have a test done called a hysterosalpingogram (HSG) to check and see if your fallopian tubes are patent despite the sterilization.
