I have filshie clips in for 2 years. My obgyn plans to cut them out but will not repair them. Will this reduce my chance of a reversal in the future?
I am 35 and have had the clamps in for 2 years. I have had a lot of pain since so my obgyn is going to cut the clamps out, but will not repair the tube because insurance won't cover. I want a reversal in the future and my ob assured me this will not affect my future chance of having a reversal. Do you feel this is true? Should I not let them remove the filshie clamps? Am I risking an ectopic by having them removed and not opening the tubes back up?

I had the Hulka clips put on during a tubal ligation procedure when I was 24 years old. I am now 30 and my husband and I want another child.
