IVF

I'm a 39 yrs old mother of one child. I terminated one pregnancy, then had my tubes tied. I'm about to go through my 1st IVF cycle. Do I have to take all the meds if my only issue is that my tubes are blocked?

Yes, you do have to take all the meds given to you. They should also be taken as prescribed. The goal of IVF is to get a lot of eggs to improve your chances of getting pregnant.. Medication provided will assist with those efforts. Going against the doctor's recommendations and not following the process exactly could result in you not becoming pregnant, and ultimately it would be a waste of time and money.
