What are the possibilities of a 21-year-old woman conceiving a child with a 43-year-old man?

I had a miscarriage 4 years ago and have irregular periods. My partner, a 43-year-old-man, has 2 older children but we'd like to try again soon. I would also like to know if there would be more chances of something being wrong with the child since he is much older.

When I was 17, I had to have the laparoscopic sterilization after having two kids. I am now 26 and married. Is there a chance I can get pregnant again without any reversal? I heard I could because I was so young when they did the laparoscopic sterilization.
