Living a healthy lifestyle can certainly benefit all of your normal bodily functions, including getting pregnant and carrying a pregnancy. What's more important here is your body mass index (or BMI). Your BMI will indicate if you are underweight or overweight. Women of both extremes may not ovulate regularly and, therefore, have trouble conceiving. Optimizing your BMI will increase your chances of getting pregnant.
