Any suggestion after undergoing gastric bypass and a tubal ligation?

My 33 year old wife underwent gastric bypass in April, 2010, having had a tubal ligation in March, 2007. We want to reverse the tubal and need a recommendation for our first step. Thank you.

Hi! The first step would be to make an appointment for a "tubal reversal consult" with a physician who specializes in tubal reversals. You can get a referral from your primary care physician, but you can also find someone in your area using the "Find a Doctor" feature on this site (http://www.fertilityproregistry.com/local). Next, prior to your consultation, you will need to have all records from your tubal ligation. You can either fax them to the office of the specialist or bring copies with you. This, along with a physical examination and testing, will help him or her determine whether a reversal is the best course of action. I hope this helps!

I had my tubes clamped with a little micro machine. I don't remember what it is called though. Nonetheless, I want to get the clamp off so that I can try to become pregnant. I am married and seriously want to have a baby with my husband. How much trouble would it be to get my tubes unclamped? If I do this, what are my chances of getting pregnant?

I had the Hulka clips put on during a tubal ligation procedure when I was 24 years old. I am now 30 and my husband and I want another child. We are uncertain if my irregular periods are being caused by some of the Hulka clips coming off, or maybe the tube has grown around them. Is this likely and would either cause irregular periods? Also, would tubal reversal be a good option if we are considering having another child?
