Unfortunately, the chances of getting pregnant with IVF at age 46 are very low. IVF with donor eggs, however, is an excellent option that will render much greater results.

It is very difficult to do IVF with your own eggs since most of the eggs will be genetically abnormal. Most 46 year olds are treated with egg donor eggs. If you are seriously considering this method, you should consult with a fertility specialist who can sit down and thoroughly go over the procedure, risks, benefits, success rates, etc.
