My family has a history of type 2 diabetes, can I still donate my eggs?

I am perfectly healthy, with no known health conditions. However, my father's side of the family has a history of type 2 diabetes. I tend to take after my mother in almost everything, and show no sign of a risk of diabetes. Can I donate my eggs?
