Thank you for your question. The price of the reversals varies because different hospitals or outpatient facilities have different fees. Surgeons also have different fees based on their preferences.
Those of us that do a lot of outpatient microsurgery or tubal reversals can usually get better pricing for our patients based on more frequent use of the outpatient facilities.
The price can still vary depending on the risk status of the patient. If a patient has had multiple incisions or if the patient is overweight, the increased surgical risk and time is passed on to the patient as a higher cost.
In our facility we have one of the most affordable global fees for tubal reversal. This low cost is a reflection of the quantity of procedures performed as well as lower business costs in our area.

At the Tubal Reversal Center that does only this type of surgery, the
cost is minimized by efficiency and avoiding the need for hospital fees.
In this case, low cost does not imply less value since the pregnancy
statistics shown on the site document the highest tubal reversal success
rate of any doctor or clinic.

I had the Hulka clips put on during a tubal ligation procedure when I was 24 years old. I am now 30 and my husband and I want another child. We are uncertain if my irregular periods are being caused by some of the Hulka clips coming off, or maybe the tube has grown around them. Is this likely and would either cause irregular periods? Also, would tubal reversal be a good option if we are considering having another child?
