Risks associated for the mother and baby with the PGD gender selection process?

I haven't tried any fertility treatments before and I don't have a history of recurrent pregnancy loss. I am a female, 31 years old. Currently, I have a daughter and I want a boy to balance my family. Is there any possible risk with this treatment?
