Can the Essure procedure be easily reversed?

I had the Essure procedure done in 2006 and its been giving me problems ever since. Can I have the procedure reversed? Not only do I want to become pregnant again, but I want my symptoms to cease.

The procedure cannot be easily reversed. The devices are place in the fallopian and scar tissue forms around the devices. A major abdominal surgery can be performed to removed the devices; however, your fallopian tubes most likely will NOT be open after this surgery and you will need to do treatment with in vitro fertilization to have another child. Specific questions about the symptoms should be addressed with the gynecologist who placed the Essure.

The Essure procedure cannot be reversed easily or very successfully, Can have devices removed but still would have blocked tubes. IVF is best option after having the Essure procedure.

We reverse Essure at our facility and provide our patients with a chance to become naturally pregnant. If your symptoms started soon after Essure insertion then there is a good chance Essure removal will help improve your symptoms. During an Essure reversal, we remove the device intact and restore the natural function of the fallopian tube with a tubouterine implantation procedure.

I had the Hulka clips put on during a tubal ligation procedure when I was 24 years old. I am now 30 and my husband and I want another child. We are uncertain if my irregular periods are being caused by some of the Hulka clips coming off, or maybe the tube has grown around them. Is this likely and would either cause irregular periods? Also, would tubal reversal be a good option if we are considering having another child?
