How much trouble would it be to get my tubes unclamped?

I had my tubes clamped with a little micro machine. I don't remember what it is called though. Nonetheless, I want to get the clamp off so that I can try to become pregnant. I am married and seriously want to have a baby with my husband. How much trouble would it be to get my tubes unclamped? If I do this, what are my chances of getting pregnant?

The procedure cannot be easily reversed. The devices are place in the fallopian and scar tissue forms around the devices. A major abdominal surgery can be performed to removed the devices; however, your fallopian tubes most likely will NOT be open after this surgery and you will need to do treatment with in vitro fertilization to have another child. Specific questions about the symptoms should be addressed with the gynecologist who placed the Essure.
