Is it possible to become pregnant despite having a tubal ligation? I want to have another baby.
I am a 26-year-old woman who wants to have another baby. My tubes are tied. I'm wondering if it's possible to still become pregnant and have another baby. If not, what treatment options do I have? How much are they?

Yes, it's possible to become pregnant with a tubal ligation but the chances are very low. Tubal ligation is one of the most effective ways to prevent pregnancy, with rates of pregnancy around 1/1000 after the 1st year and between 2-10/1,000 after 5 years. Your best option is a tubal reversal as it offers the BEST chance and is the least expensive option to have the baby your heart desires.
