I had a bilateral tubal ligation and my tubes were crushed, cauterized and suture ligated. Would I be a good candidate for tubal reversal surgery?
According to the pathology report each tube that was removed measured less than 1 cm.

The lengths of tube removed, according to the pathology report, are
small (standard for tubal ligation). It is not possible to know how much
of the tube was cauterized. The operative report might give more
information about this. What you have had done is a fairly common method
of tubal ligation and we have found that reversal is possible in 98% of
cases.

I had the Hulka clips put on during a tubal ligation procedure when I was 24 years old. I am now 30 and my husband and I want another child.
