I'm 42 years old, is intrauterine insemination the right procedure for me?

At 42 years old, I still have my monthly cycles. Some time ago I had tubes tied, but now I would like another baby. Is IUI the right procedure for me?

No. At your age the first and only consideration should be IVF.

IUI will not work because your tubes are tied and the sperm will not be able to get to the egg. You will need tubal reversal surgery or in vitro fertilization.
